Encounter Walking Trail

A 4 kilometre (one-way) walking trail that begins at the Ceduna Sailing Club and heads to Pinky Point Lookout, located in nearby Thevenard.

Oyster Growing Farms

These farms can be found near Denial Bay. Fresh Oysters are usually available between April and January.

Oysterfest

Every year, during the October long weekend, Ceduna hosts the Oysterfest which is a very popular festival that enables people the chance to see and taste locally grown oysters. (tourists are advised to book accommodation in advance if planning to visit during this weekend).

Ceduna's Old Schoolhouse Museum

Interested in the pioneers of days gone by - then visit the historical displays, the Maralinga Room containing objects from the British atomic tests from the 1940's and 1950's. Open between 10 am and 12 pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 1 pm to 4 pm on Wednesday and 10am to 12pm & 1pm to 4pm on Thursday.

Boating

There are a number of boat ramps in Ceduna. Ramps are located in front of the Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park, the Malcolm Puckridge Boat Ramp, and in Thevenard - another boat ramp is located next to the Fish Processing Factories. King George Whiting is frequently caught by fishermen in this area.

Cactus Beach & Point Sinclair

Ninety four kilometres west of Ceduna is Cactus Beach. If you are a serious surfer then this is the place to be with some of the best surf breaks in Australia. Visit nearby Point Sinclair to find a fishing jetty, sheltered picnic areas, gas barbecues, toilets and a swimming enclosure. Point Sinclair has camping and caravan sites (unpowered) available and you will need to take your own drinking water.

Yumbarra Conservation Park and Goog's Track

Located 30 kilometres north of Ceduna. Come and see rockholes, huge sandhills - over 20 metres high, Goog's Lake and Mount Finke. Goog's Track runs for 200 kilometres in a northerly direction through the Yumbarra Conservation Park and the Yellabinna Reserve.
