Border Village - Nullarbor

Border Village is located 50m east of the Western Australian Agricultural checkpoint, twelve kilometres east of Eucla and 187 km west of the Nullabor Roadhouse.

Western Australia's Agricultural Quarantine Checkpoint. All vehicles will be required to undergo a compulsory quarantine inspection at the nearby Western Australian Agricultural checkpoint. Fresh fruit, honey, plant material, soil and seeds will be confiscated. Grass seeds will need to be removed from any long haired pets - so have a brush handy!

The Bunda Cliffs

Located south of the Eyre Highway you can view the Bunda Cliffs. There are several scenic lookouts and rest stops - some which are suitable for overnight camping - between the Border Village and the Nullarbor Roadhouse. Southern Right Whales might be seen between May and October from the lookouts. Don't miss out on the beautiful, breath taking views.

*Please Note: Do not walk close to the cliff edges as they are prone to crumbling without warning down into the ocean. Be prepared for the hot climatic conditions during the summer months as the temperature can exceed 40 degrees celcius.
