NAIDOC stands for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’. and NAIDOC Week is a celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. NAIDOC Week isn't just for our Indigenous communities, it's for all Australians from all walks of life. NAIDOC Week is a great opportunity to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and participate in a range of activities.
This year's theme is "Because of her, we can" which is dedicated to all the Indigenous women who've made a difference and inspired others.
