The Avon Descent is an annual, 2 day white water event along the Avon and Swan Rivers in Western Australia. The descent includes both paddle craft (kayaks, surf skis) and small motor boats. The descent runs from Northam to the Perth suburb of Bayswater, and is held in August every year. The first Avon Descent was held in 1973.

- Stage 2 - Katrine Bridge to Toodyay (15 km)
- Stage 3 - Toodyay to Wetherall Reserve (9 km)
- Stage 4 - Wetherall Reserve to Boral Campsite (11 km)
Day 2 - Overnight Stop - Boral Campsite to City of Bayswater (72 km)
- Stage 5 - Boral Campsite to Emu Falls (8 km)
- Stage 6 - Emu Falls to Stronghills Farm (10 km)
- Stage 7 - Stronghills Farm to Bells Rapid (21 km)
- Stage 8 - Bells Rapid to Middle Swan (18 km)
- Stage 9 - Middle Swan to Bayswater Finish (15 km)
