Perth

Perth is one of the most isolated major cities in the world.

When it comes to Australian cities, Perth is often overlooked in favor of its more famous counterparts. But what many people don’t know is that Perth is actually one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the country. From stunning beaches to exciting nightlife, there’s something for everyone here. Let's explore some of the best things to do and see in this amazing city.

Perth  (Mooro) sits where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. The CBD of Perth is bounded by the Swan River to the south and east, with Kings Park on the western end, and the Perth City Link to the suburb of Northbridge to the North. Kings Park and the Botanic Gardens on Mt. Eliza offer sweeping views of the city. To the east, the city is bordered by a low escarpment called the Darling Scarp. The Perth Arena is a building in the Perth City Link area. Hay Street and Murray Street have most of the retail and entertainment facilities.

Beaches

Perth boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Australia. Cottesloe Beach and City Beach are two popular spots that many locals love to frequent during summer months. If you’re looking for a more secluded spot, head north to Scarborough Beach or south to Trigg Beach for a peaceful day at the beach. All of these beaches offer breathtaking views and plenty of activities for visitors and locals alike, from swimming and sunbathing to kayaking and surfing.

Nightlife

The nightlife scene in Perth is thriving with plenty of pubs, bars, clubs, and live music venues scattered across the city. For those looking for a classic pub experience, head over to Fremantle where you can find pubs like The Sail & Anchor serving up delicious local craft beer alongside tasty pub grub. For a more sophisticated night out on the town, Northbridge has an array of swanky cocktail bars that offer an upscale atmosphere perfect for special occasions or date nights.

Attractions

From art galleries to wildlife parks, there’s no shortage of attractions in Perth. For an art lover’s paradise, head over to Subiaco where you can visit popular galleries like Central Gallery or take a walk through Subiaco Arts Centre where you can view works by local artists as well as international talents from all over the world. Nature lovers will want to make sure they check out Kings Park – one of Australia’s largest inner-city parks – which has stunning views as well as walking trails and gardens perfect for spending time outdoors. And if you really want a unique experience, visit Caversham Wildlife Park where you can get up close and personal with Aussie wildlife like kangaroos and koalas!
